Best Sustainable / CSR Practice

Open to any organisation in the MICE sector that has a strong green, sustainable or energy saving policy and operational programme in place. This award shall be conferred on a hotels or venues or any MICE organisation with a real dedication to making a positive impact in the world in which they operate their business. 

Submission/Eligibility Criteria:

  • Any UK hotel, venue, specialist supplier or organisation demonstrating thought leadership/action in the field of sustainability and CSR.

Judging Criteria:

  • Nominees need to demonstrate how they operate in a sustainable manner, putting into action the appropriate tools, techniques and training to help create a more sustainable future for the events that they are involved with.
  • Nominees need to demonstrate how their CSR policies make an impact either in their local communities or environment and how this could be made to be transferable.
  • Nominees need to demonstrate the impact that sustainable policies have made.

Nominees should include supporting evidence which could include (but not limited to), written evidence, client testimonials, references, case studies, evaluation by customers and if applicable repeat business percentages.

Everything you need to know about attending our events.

All of the judges are from the events industry, from major events companies. All pre-approved to meet our criteria as senior event professionals.

Any venue, hotel or event supplier in the UK. A venue is a hotel, conference centre, sports stadium...basically if you fit into one of the categories you can enter! Just read the eligibility and judging criteria and you can't go far wrong.

The shortlist is announced week commencing 28th September, one month before CHS Birmingham, giving plenty of time for you to shout about your success of being shortlisted!

We will announce the shortlist week commencing 28 September 2020. A press release will be sent to industry publications and the shortlist made aware by phone or email.

It's FREE to enter the awards, so go on....get entering!

You can apply to be a judge by completing the form on the website. We do have some criteria and will let you know if you are successful as soon as possible.

This year, only shortlisted nominees and judges will be permitted to attend the ceremony. However, you can tune in to watch at home or in the office LIVE on our YouTube and CHS Group Facebook Page.

Of course! You can enter as many as you feel suit your company.

The only thing we can say here is make sure you have lots of supporting evidence. The Judges use your submission only to decide on their winner, so you need to make sure they have all the information required to make their choice.
